Friends Having Picnic

Our Vision and Mission

We envision a safe, vibrant, and welcoming community where every resident feels a strong sense of belonging, connection, and pride in the place they call home.

Our mission is to build a connected and inclusive community by organizing social, recreational, and cultural events; fostering a spirit of mutual support among residents; and advocating for thoughtful development and services that reflect our neighbourhood’s needs and values.

Our Team.

This is your Team section. It's a great place to introduce your team and talk about what makes it special, such as your culture and work philosophy. Don't be afraid to illustrate personality and character to help users connect with your team.

Toby Howell
Treasurer

Toby and her husband Mark Greystone moved here last year. What we really like about Greystone is that everything is five minutes away.: shopping, gym, downtown, the river. And people stop and wave you across the street. They smile at you. That’s something you don’t find in a larger city. Coming of Calgary we experienced a bit of culture chock.

Toby Howell has an MBA and a BA in Fine Arts, she worked as a business instructor for many years in Colleges and Universities.

Toby started her own community immersed pottery studio and ran it for 7 years in Victoria BC.

Community partners included: Downtown Art Gallery, Local Community Center, Local Arts Cooperative, Local TV station and various other groups that all required dependability, organization, and a positive community image.

The business ran 3 events per year, the largest was televised (so had to be well organized, or choreographed if you like) with between 50 and 200 people at any one time.

She has worked in every board position and served as a board member for 7 years. She was a volunteer instructor and facilitator for the Board Developmemnt Program for 3 years. She enjoys planning and strategy and often says a good plan can create the future and a good strategy makes that future bright.
